Synopsis

Experiences marketplace Bucketlistt has secured INR 1.07 crore in a pre-seed angel funding round at a post-money valuation of INR 10.07 crore. The funding round attracted participation from angel investors including Arvind Choudhar, Aenik Shah, Kartik Khatri and Yash Mehta. The company plans to deploy the capital towards strengthening its technology infrastructure, expanding its operator network, accelerating customer acquisition and scaling OkGhumo, its recently launched ERP and CRM platform for experience providers. Founded in 2025, Bucketlistt operates a curated marketplace for adventure, cultural and spiritual experiences and claims to have facilitated more than INR 10 crore in bookings while serving over 31,000 customers within five months of launch. The company is now preparing to expand into additional tourism destinations across India.

Bucketlistt, a curated experiences marketplace, has raised INR 1.07 crore in a pre-seed angel funding round at a post-money valuation of INR 10.07 crore as it seeks to strengthen its position in India's fragmented experiences and tourism sector. The investment was secured in the past week from a group of angel investors including Arvind Choudhar, Aenik Shah, Kartik Khatri and Yash Mehta, with the company planning to use the proceeds to expand operations, enhance technology capabilities and scale its software platform for operators.
Founded by chartered accountants Shubham Makhecha and Nitant Desai along with Divyam Shah, the company operates a marketplace focused on verified and curated experiences across India. Its offerings span adventure activities such as bungee jumping and river rafting, alongside cultural, spiritual and local immersive experiences.
In addition to its consumer-facing marketplace, Bucketlistt has launched OkGhumo, an ERP and CRM platform developed specifically for experience and activity operators. The platform is designed to help vendors manage bookings, operational workflows and financial processes through a unified digital system.
The company stated that the fresh capital would be directed towards strengthening its technology stack, expanding its network of operators across key tourism destinations, increasing customer acquisition efforts and building its workforce.
India's experience tourism market is estimated to be worth USD 45 billion, supported by rising disposable incomes and growing demand for experiential travel. Despite the scale of the market, the sector remains highly fragmented, with many travellers relying on unorganised operators or broad-based travel platforms that offer limited specialisation. Bucketlistt is positioning itself as a technology-led platform focused on verified experiences and operator accountability.
Since commencing operations in December 2025, the company said it has facilitated bookings worth more than INR 10 crore and served over 31,000 customers within its first five months. It currently operates in Rishikesh, where customers can access experiences including skydiving, hot air balloon rides, ziplining, giant swings, rafting, camping and reserved access to the Ganga Aarti.
As part of its expansion strategy, Bucketlistt is preparing to enter destinations such as Manali, Bir and Jaipur. The company is also broadening its portfolio beyond adventure tourism to include curated cultural and spiritual experiences, including dining experiences at Rajwada, VIP Darshan access during the Ujjain Mahakal Aarti and traditional Feni-making experiences in Goa. According to the company, every operator listed on the platform undergoes direct vetting by the founding team before onboarding.
Shubham Makhecha, co-founder of Bucketlistt, said the adventure travel segment in India had historically lacked trust, standardisation and digital infrastructure. He stated that the company was addressing both consumer and operator challenges by creating a trusted discovery and booking platform while simultaneously providing specialised software tools to help operators manage and scale their businesses more efficiently.
The company's SaaS platform, OkGhumo, has already onboarded three vendors that collectively represent more than INR 40 crore in annual business volume. Looking ahead, Bucketlistt plans to launch a consumer mobile application, introduce loyalty and dynamic pricing features, expand into additional destinations and continue enhancing OkGhumo's capabilities through future integrations and AI-enabled booking infrastructure.
