Godrej Properties has sold more than 1,000 apartments worth over INR 2,000 crore in its newly launched residential project, Godrej Vanantara, in Bengaluru, according to a regulatory filing.
The project was launched during the past week and witnessed strong demand from homebuyers, with over 1,000 units sold within the launch week itself. The sales achievement marks a significant milestone for the company in Bengaluru, one of its key residential markets.
Godrej Vanantara is spread across 36 acres and has a total developable area potential of 3.53 million sq ft. The project carries an estimated revenue potential of around INR 3,700 crore, indicating substantial inventory yet to be monetised over the course of the development.
Commenting on the response, Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Godrej Properties, said that the strong customer interest had reinforced the company's belief that a customer-focused approach, supported by careful planning and execution, would continue to influence the future of residential development.
The strong launch performance comes at a time when Bengaluru continues to remain one of India's most active housing markets, driven by demand from professionals, end-users and investors. The city has seen consistent residential launches and healthy sales momentum over the past few years, particularly in large-scale township and mixed-use developments.
Godrej Properties, part of the Godrej Group, is among the country's leading listed real estate developers.
