Mumbai-based Agami Realty has announced Agami Legends, an ultra-luxury residential project in Kalanagar, Bandra East, overlooking the MIG Cricket Club and Mahim Bay. The development marks a new addition to the city's premium housing segment and is inspired by the values associated with cricket, including discipline, strategy and legacy. Former Indian cricket captain Sunil Gavaskar has joined Agami Realty as its brand ambassador and will endorse the project. Planned as a low-density residential tower with 67 homes, the development aims to combine privacy, connectivity and thoughtfully designed living spaces in one of Mumbai's established residential neighbourhoods.
Mumbai-based Agami Realty has announced the launch of Agami Legends, an ultra-luxury residential development in Kalanagar, Bandra East. Situated opposite the iconic MIG Cricket Club and overlooking Mahim Bay, the project is positioned in one of Mumbai's established residential neighbourhoods known for its cultural significance and strong connectivity.
The developer has also appointed cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar as its brand ambassador. The association aligns with the concept behind the project, which draws inspiration from the values of cricket, including discipline, consistency, strategy and long-term excellence.
Commenting on the association, Gavaskar said that legacy is built through discipline, consistency and integrity. He noted that Agami Legends stood out because of the philosophy behind the project, which takes inspiration from the spirit of cricket and institutions such as the MIG Cricket Club that have contributed to the development of generations of players. He added that he was pleased to be associated with a development that celebrates legacy in a thoughtful manner.
Agami Realty has previously developed Agami Eternity in the same neighbourhood. While that project was inspired by art and creative expression, Agami Legends has been conceptualised around cricket and the values associated with the sport. The project's location facing the MIG Cricket Club forms a key part of its identity and design narrative.
According to the developer, the residences have been planned around efficient space utilisation and long-term functionality. The project will feature column-free layouts designed to create open living spaces, while expansive decks will offer views of the cricket club and Mahim Bay. The development has also been designed to balance aesthetics with everyday comfort and practicality.
The project is being developed as a standalone residential tower with only 67 residences, following a low-density approach intended to offer greater privacy and exclusivity. It will comprise a collection of spacious three- and four-bedroom homes.
In addition to residential amenities, Agami Legends will include a private wellness suite and dedicated spaces for relaxation and creative activities. One of the facilities will feature enhanced acoustic insulation aimed at creating a quieter environment within the development.
The location places the project close to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), while also providing access to the Western Express Highway, Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line) and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The area is also witnessing growing institutional development, with the upcoming Bombay High Court complex in Bandra East expected to further strengthen the neighbourhood's importance as an emerging legal and commercial hub.
Prashant Khandelwal, Director and CEO of Agami Realty and Joint Secretary of CREDAI-MCHI, said the company believes every development should reflect the character of its surroundings. He stated that Agami Legends was conceived to combine the legacy of Kalanagar with the discipline and stature associated with cricket, adding that Gavaskar's association with the project naturally complemented the philosophy behind the development.
Kalanagar has witnessed growing residential interest over the years due to its central location between Mumbai's western suburbs and major business districts. Improved connectivity infrastructure, including metro expansion and proximity to BKC, has further strengthened the area's appeal among homebuyers seeking premium residences with access to commercial centres.
