DAC Developers has strengthened its presence along Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) with the inauguration of a new satellite office and the launch of DAC Cambridge, a premium residential project inspired by the architectural character of Cambridge, England. The developer also indicated that it is exploring a proposed INR 250 crore funding platform with Yubi to support future land acquisitions, following two previous transactions through which Yubi facilitated INR 66 crore in funding. The expansion comes as DAC continues to grow its residential portfolio across Chennai’s IT corridor, where it currently has five ongoing projects in Sholinganallur and Navalur. The company has also announced upcoming launches including DAC Silicon Valley Phase 3 and DAC Lords.
DAC Developers has inaugurated a satellite office on Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), strengthening its operational presence in one of the city’s most active residential and information technology corridors. The office was inaugurated in the past week in the presence of Gaurav Kumar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Yubi Group, and Sathish Kumar Santhanam, Founder and Managing Director of DAC Developers. The move comes as the developer expands its project portfolio along the corridor and advances discussions on a proposed funding arrangement for future land acquisitions.
The developer and Yubi have previously collaborated on two transactions in Chennai, through which Yubi facilitated funding of INR 66 crore for DAC Developers. Building on this relationship, Yubi is now considering participation in a proposed INR 250 crore platform intended to support land acquisition opportunities over a one-year period. According to the companies, discussions on the structure and terms of the arrangement are underway, with formal execution expected after the finalisation process is completed.
The occasion also marked the launch of DAC Cambridge, a residential development positioned as an English-themed community. Inspired by the architectural style associated with Cambridge, England, the project has been planned with landscaped open areas and residential spaces designed to cater to buyers seeking premium housing options along Chennai’s IT corridor.
OMR remains a key market for DAC Developers, which currently has five ongoing projects across the corridor. These include DAC Prathyangira and DAC Napa Valley in Sholinganallur, as well as the villa developments DAC Silicon Valley, DAC Silicon Valley Phase 2 and DAC Santa Clara in Navalur. The company stated that these projects have contributed to its growing presence across one of Chennai’s most sought-after residential locations.
The newly inaugurated satellite office is intended to serve as a dedicated customer engagement centre for prospective homebuyers. The facility will enable visitors to interact directly with the company’s teams, obtain project information and complete property-related enquiries at a single location on OMR.
DAC Developers also announced that DAC Silicon Valley Phase 3 will be launched shortly, extending its villa development portfolio in Navalur. In addition, the company revealed plans to introduce DAC Lords, another residential project that is expected to be launched in the near term as part of its ongoing expansion strategy along the corridor.
The latest developments indicate a continued focus on Chennai’s southern growth corridor, where residential demand has been supported by expanding employment hubs, infrastructure improvements and sustained housing activity. With new project launches in the pipeline, a dedicated office presence on OMR and ongoing discussions around additional capital for land acquisitions, DAC Developers is positioning itself for further growth within the market.
