The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has extended the deadline for applications to its proposed 500-acre fintech hub in Sector 11 near the Noida International Airport, revising the submission date to April 29. The move is aimed at attracting wider participation from global investors and financial institutions. The project, structured through an expression of interest (EOI), is envisioned as a financial services ecosystem comprising offices, IT and digital service centres, and transaction processing units. YEIDA plans to leverage upcoming industry events to promote the development and increase investor engagement. The hub is expected to support fintech, banking, and financial services firms while strengthening the region's positioning as a financial services destination.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has extended the application deadline for its proposed fintech hub project in Sector 11 near the upcoming Noida International Airport, as part of efforts to attract broader investor participation and enhance global interest in the development.
The revised timeline, announced in the past week, shifts the last date for submission of applications under the expression of interest (EOI) process to April 29, with the opening of technical bids scheduled shortly thereafter. The extension comes after the earlier deadline in early April and is intended to provide additional time for potential developers and institutional investors to evaluate participation in the project.
The fintech hub is planned across approximately 500 acres and is positioned as a large-scale financial services ecosystem designed to host a range of activities, including core financial services, transaction processing centres, IT and digital services, and customer support operations.
According to officials, the decision to extend the deadline is also linked to an upcoming financial industry event expected to attract investors, fintech firms, and financial institutions. The authority intends to use this platform to promote the project and generate additional interest from domestic as well as international stakeholders.
The proposed development is strategically located near the Noida International Airport along the Yamuna Expressway corridor, offering connectivity advantages that are expected to support its positioning as a financial and technology hub. The project is part of a broader development strategy to create institutional and commercial infrastructure in the region, aligned with anticipated economic activity around the airport.
Under the EOI framework, developers will have the opportunity to build a mix of infrastructure within the hub, including corporate office spaces, conference and convention facilities, and support amenities such as cultural centres and health clubs.
The initiative reflects a growing push by state authorities to develop specialised business districts that can attract global capital and financial institutions. By offering a dedicated ecosystem for fintech and allied sectors, YEIDA aims to position the region alongside established financial centres while leveraging infrastructure development in the National Capital Region.
The extension of the application timeline indicates a focus on maximising participation and ensuring competitive bidding for the project. As interest builds around the Noida airport-led growth corridor, the fintech hub is expected to play a role in shaping commercial real estate demand and institutional investment activity in the area.
