Synopsis

Pinnacle Infotech has entered into memoranda of understanding with Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Trimble, Nemetschek Group, IES, and ETAP to develop an integrated digital ecosystem for the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) sector. Announced at the launch of its Global Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru in the past week, the initiative aims to connect fragmented workflows across design, engineering, construction, and operations. The collaboration is expected to support lifecycle-driven project delivery through interoperable digital platforms, enabling improved coordination, data integration, and efficiency in large-scale infrastructure and construction projects.

Pinnacle Infotech has entered into memoranda of understanding with six global technology firms to create an integrated digital ecosystem for the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) sector. The agreements were announced during the launch of the company’s Global Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru in the past week.

The partnerships involve collaboration with Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Trimble, Nemetschek Group, IES, and ETAP. Through these agreements, the company intends to integrate multiple digital platforms and tools into a unified system that supports project execution across the full lifecycle of infrastructure and construction developments.

According to the company, the initiative is aimed at addressing fragmentation in existing construction workflows by enabling connectivity between design, engineering, construction, and operational processes. The integrated approach is expected to facilitate data-driven decision-making and improve coordination across project stakeholders.

Bimal Patwari, founder and chief executive officer of Pinnacle Infotech, stated that the partnerships are focused on integrating technologies rather than adopting them in isolation. He indicated that the objective is to enable a connected, lifecycle-driven approach to infrastructure delivery, covering stages from design and construction to long-term operations.

The Global Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru is expected to serve as a hub for advancing these integrated digital capabilities, supporting the development and deployment of solutions across projects. The initiative reflects a broader shift within the AECO sector towards digitisation and the use of interoperable platforms to manage complex construction processes.

The collaboration signals increasing alignment between engineering service providers and global technology firms in developing unified digital frameworks for infrastructure projects. As construction projects grow in scale and complexity, the integration of digital tools across project phases is being positioned as a key factor in improving efficiency, coordination, and lifecycle management.
