VinFast Auto India, a subsidiary of VinFast, has expanded its presence in the Indian market with the launch of its 50th dealership in Bengaluru. This marks a key step in the company's ongoing expansion strategy as it continues to strengthen its retail footprint and improve access to electric mobility solutions across the country.
The newly launched 3S dealership has been developed in partnership with PPS Motors LLP and is located on Hosur Road in the Electronic City area. The facility spans over 11,500 sq ft and combines both showroom and service operations under one roof, following the company's global retail standards.
The showroom itself covers around 2,500 sq ft and has been designed to offer a modern and premium customer experience. It supports both sales and after-sales services, with dedicated teams managing customer engagement, servicing, and support functions within the same space.
This expansion aligns with VinFast's broader plan to scale up its dealership network to 75 outlets across more than 60 cities in India by the end of the year. The company is not limiting its focus to metro cities but is also targeting emerging markets to widen its reach and improve accessibility to electric vehicles.
Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, stated that the company had reached a significant milestone with 50 showrooms nationwide, reflecting faster expansion and a clear focus on strengthening its presence in the country. He added that the new Bengaluru facility would support integrated sales, service, and spare parts operations, helping meet customer requirements more effectively. He also noted that this growth plays an important role in supporting India's electric vehicle ecosystem.
Alongside its retail expansion, VinFast is working on building a comprehensive EV ecosystem in India. This includes manufacturing, charging infrastructure, after-sales services, and a circular battery value chain, in collaboration with financial institutions and partners. The company aims to provide a seamless ownership experience for EV buyers.
VinFast's premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, have received 5-star ratings under Bharat NCAP, meeting top safety standards in the country. These models are supported by roadside assistance, up to three years of free maintenance, and warranty coverage extending up to 10 years or 200,000 kilometres, depending on the variant.
The company has also introduced several customer-focused initiatives to support EV adoption. Its Value Assured programme offers a predefined resale value after a certain period, addressing concerns around depreciation. Additionally, customers benefit from extended free charging on the V-Green network until March 31, 2029, helping reduce running costs. VinFast's parent company, Vingroup, has also rolled out a Trade Gas for Electric initiative, offering an additional 3% discount until March 31, 2026, to encourage a shift from conventional fuel vehicles to electric mobility.
VinFast, listed on NASDAQ: VFS, operates as a pure electric vehicle manufacturer with a portfolio that includes electric SUVs, two-wheelers, bicycles, and buses. The company is currently focusing on expanding its global presence across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, while strengthening its manufacturing and distribution capabilities.
