Synopsis

Under the Negotiated Partnership Scheme, 28 returnable residential plots were distributed to farmers displaced by road expansion in Amaravati's R-1 zone. The e-lottery, conducted at APCRDA headquarters, allocated plots to 29 farmers from Borupalem, Kuragallu, and Undavalli. Ten of these plots were assigned to residents of Kuragallu village who had homes on Cheruvu Poramboku land since December 2014, providing them both replacement land and compensation. Officials, including the Special Grade Deputy Collector, guided beneficiaries on registration and plot location assistance, ensuring proper implementation of the scheme.

As part of the development of the People's Capital Amaravati, 28 returnable residential plots were allocated to farmers who lost their land due to road expansion in the R-1 zone. The allocation took place through an e-lottery organized by APCRDA officials at their headquarters in Rayapudi. This initiative is part of the implementation of the Negotiated Partnership Scheme (NPS), designed to provide replacement plots and compensation to affected residents.

State Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Dr. Ponguru Narayana met with residents of the capital villages who had lost houses and land and conveyed their concerns to officials. Following his directions, the APCRDA conducted the lottery, allotting plots to 29 farmers from Borupalem, Kuragallu, and Undavalli villages. Among these, 10 plots were specifically given to residents of Kuragallu village who had built homes on Cheruvu Poramboku land by December 2014 and were directly affected by the road construction. These farmers received both returnable plots and compensation under the NPS framework.

CRDA Special Grade Deputy Collector and Director (Lands) Capital City, Vasantharayudu, who oversaw the program, advised the beneficiaries to complete the registration process promptly. He added that GIS staff and village surveyors would assist in explaining the precise locations of the allotted plots. Officials from the Planning Department, IT Department, and other CRDA staff also participated to ensure smooth coordination.
