The land, purchased from Mahalunge Real Estate Developers Pvt Ltd, is designated for a new residential township project. This strategic acquisition highlights K Raheja Corp's growing presence in the Pune market and its commitment to developing large-scale residential projects to meet the city's increasing housing demand.
In a significant move to expand its footprint in the Pune real estate market, KRC Queens Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the prominent developer K Raheja Corp, has purchased a large land parcel for INR 195 crore. The acquisition involves a 7.43-acre plot located in Mahalunge, a rapidly developing area near Pune.
The land was acquired from Mahalunge Real Estate Developers Pvt Ltd, with the transaction officially registered on July 21, 2025. The purchase also involved a stamp duty payment of INR 13.67 crore.
The newly acquired land is earmarked for a residential township project. The company has the potential to develop a total area of 1.51 lakh sq metres, which is equivalent to approximately 16.28 lakh sq ft. This planned development will translate into a saleable area of about 17 lakh sq ft, making it a substantial project that will contribute significantly to K Raheja Corp's portfolio in the region.
This strategic investment underscores the company's confidence in Pune's real estate growth and its plans to cater to the city's robust demand for modern residential communities.
