The new framework places greater emphasis on digital filing, structured documentation and defined procedural timelines. Complaints can be submitted online through the RERA portal, with offline filing continuing as an alternative. The Jaipur Municipal Corporation has carried out a demolition operation in the Hawa Mahal-Amber zone to remove unauthorised structures built on government land, signalling a stricter approach to illegal construction in the city. The action targeted encroachments on a demarcated parcel of civic land where buildings had been raised without approval, following repeated complaints and official verification of the encroachment. Additional unauthorised construction in a residential colony was also demolished during the drive. The Central Industrial Security Force has begun a focused training programme for personnel of the Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force who will be deployed on the Namo Bharat regional rapid transit corridor. The six-day course is being conducted at CISF's Kavach training facility under its Delhi Metro unit. The first batch includes 40 officers, including a Commandant-rank officer, with plans to train around 240 personnel in phases. Delhi Police's Crime Branch has busted an organised property fraud syndicate that duped a woman of INR 12.04 crore through a fake sale of a luxury apartment at DLF Camellias in Gurugram. Five accused have been arrested for using forged bank auction documents to falsely claim ownership of the property. Investigations revealed that the defrauded amount was routed through multiple bank accounts to conceal transactions. State-owned NBCC has reached a settlement with the Delhi government to resolve a long-pending land dispute, under which it will receive a 21.23-acre land parcel in Ghitorni, south Delhi. The land forms part of a larger 42.46-acre site that will be equally divided between NBCC and the state government. NBCC plans to develop a mixed-use real estate project on its share, with estimated revenue of around INR 8,500 crore. As part of the settlement, the company will pay a total of INR 220 crore to the Delhi government, including land premium, interest and arrears of ground rent. The settlement is to be submitted before the Delhi High Court.Read more
