Bhutani Infra has partnered with Yashoda Hospital to co-develop a large-scale, AI-driven mixed-use project in Greater Noida West, with an estimated investment of INR 1,000 crore, excluding the land cost. The collaboration will result in a futuristic campus featuring a hospital, a 5-star hotel, office and retail spaces. Yashoda Hospital, which owns the 10.25-acre site, will oversee the medical infrastructure, aiming to revolutionise healthcare delivery through predictive and preventive technology. Assam has commenced the implementation of projects valued at over INR 60,000 crore, drawn from the INR 5.18 lakh crore investment proposals received during the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit held earlier this year. Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, while addressing an MoU-signing ceremony for 20 projects worth INR 22,900 crore, emphasised that the state government expects investments totalling INR 1.50 lakh crore to be realised within the first year of the summit. Key projects in the infrastructure sector, including the Guwahati ring road, Narengi-Kuruwa bridge over the Brahmaputra, and the Guwahati-Silchar express highway, have already received approval. Additionally, MoUs have been signed for projects in waste management, solar power, ethanol production, and a new brownfield plant in Namrup worth INR 10,000 crore.Read more

To meet the rising demand for urban transport, the Indian Railways has launched surveys to expand suburban railway networks in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). The Uttar Pradesh government made a significant move earlier this week by deciding to fully fund the AMRUT 2.0 scheme in the state's economically disadvantaged urban local bodies. Chemco Group, a plastic packaging company, has announced plans to establish two new manufacturing plants in Gujarat in collaboration with Kandoi Group of Industries. The project, which involves an investment of INR 450 crore, will see the development of greenfield facilities in Vapi and Dahej. The units will focus on recycling PET bottles into high-performance industrial packaging, utilising a closed-loop system encompassing bottle collection, washing, tape extrusion, weaving, and bag fabrication. Andhra Pradesh's State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has approved 19 new projects worth over INR 33,000 crore across energy, IT, electronics, tourism, and textiles, expected to create 34,000 jobs. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu emphasized real-time tracking of project progress and proposed boosting tourism with 50,000 new hotel rooms and caravan tourism policies. He also pushed for sustainable industries that convert agri-waste into inputs. Major investments include Bondada Engineering (INR 9,000 crore) and Wingtech Mobile in Tirupati, which alone could generate 10,000 jobs.
