G R Infraprojects Limited has received a railway construction contract valued at INR 1,897.51 crore from West Central Railway for works in Madhya Pradesh. The project is part of the Sidhi Singrauli new rail link and covers civil construction between Bahari and Gondawali stations. The scope includes earthwork, bridges, viaducts, tunnels, track laying and station buildings. The project will be executed on an EPC basis with a completion period of 900 days.Read more

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has submitted a formal proposal to the Uttar Pradesh government for the development of Japan City and Singapore City along the Yamuna Expressway corridor. The proposal, sent earlier this week, confirms that land parcels have been identified and acquisition plans prepared within YEIDA's jurisdiction. The initiative follows preparations linked to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's proposed official visit to Japan and Singapore, after which the authority was asked to earmark suitable land for the two projects. Sectors 5A and 7 in Greater Noida have been identified for the developments, each spanning around 500 acres. The National Highways Authority of India has approved an INR 6,220.90 crore bid from the National Highways Infra Trust to monetise operational highway assets spanning over 310 km in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
