Sunview Group Bhd has proposed the acquisition of a 50 MW solar photovoltaic power generation plant for RGT 70 million, marking another step in its renewable energy expansion. Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd has commissioned a 1 GW solar power project for SJVN, with capacity allocated to utilities in Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttarakhand. The domestically manufactured, DCR-compliant project is expected to generate over 2,454 million units of green power in its first year and offset nearly 1.74 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. All solar modules were produced at TP Solar's Tirunelveli facility. The commissioning has raised TPREL's total utility-scale renewable capacity to 11.6 GW.Read more

Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has announced the leasing of commercial spaces at three Aqua Line stations Sector 81, Sector 83, and Depot to enhance non-fare revenue. Units range from 26 sqm to 315 sqm and can be used for diverse commercial purposes, except those restricted by NMRC. The 15-year lease applications are due by early January. Aqua Line currently serves nearly 69,000 passengers daily. NMRC is also advancing network expansions and a pedestrian skywalk between Sector 51 and Sector 52 stations to improve connectivity in the Noida-Greater Noida region.Read more

L&T has secured a major contract for the second phase of the Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road in Ranga Reddy district, classified as a significant order valued between INR 1,000 crore and INR 2,500 crore. The 22.3 km, six-lane access-controlled road will connect Hyderabad's outer ring road to the proposed 340 km regional ring road, improving access to IT hubs and the electronic city. The project includes a 3.6 km viaduct, bridges, underpasses, service roads, drainage, footpaths, cycle tracks, and landscaping, reinforcing Lamp's role in boosting Telangana's regional connectivity and economic growth.Read more

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to e-auction more than 150 plots and sites across Delhi as part of its land monetisation drive to strengthen revenue. The offerings include residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and group housing plots, along with kiosks, shops, food courts and the Caf Bamboo Oasis at Baansera. The auction process was announced recently, with registrations already open. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has obtained a 4,000 square metre plot near its existing headquarters in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) at a concessional cost of about INR 800 crore.
