Gurugram is set to get an integrated bus terminal in Sector 10, designed to link directly with the upcoming metro corridor and improve last-mile connectivity. Developed at a cost of INR 32.4 crore, the project will convert seven acres of the existing depot into a modern terminal with multiple bus bays, waiting areas, and commuter facilities. Two additional terminals are planned at Sector 29 and Rajiv Chowk, while a depot-cum-terminal is being considered for Sector 12. Indian Railways has revised its standard tender contract conditions, introducing localisation and price variation clauses to improve procurement flexibility. Tripura Chief Minister Shri Manik Saha has said that damaged stretches of national highways in the state will be repaired on priority once the monsoon season withdraws. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has approved up to a two-year extension for projects under India's production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for solar equipment manufacturing. The decision, made by the empowered group of secretaries, addresses delays in sourcing capital goods for wafer, polysilicon, and module manufacturing. The extension applies to both tranche-I and tranche-II projects, benefiting companies such as Reliance New Energy, Adani Infrastructure, Waaree Energies, Avaada Ventures, JSW Renewable Energy, ReNew Solar Energy, and Tata Power Solar Systems. Infrastructure giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) confirmed that its disinvestment from the Hyderabad Metro Rail project would be finalised within the ongoing financial year. The Telangana government has agreed to acquire the company's equity in L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd for INR 2,000 crore while also assuming its debt obligations of INR 13,000 crore. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has started generating 5 MW of solar power along the 701-km Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai-Nagpur expressway), with initial installations at Karanja Lad in Washim and Mehkar in Buldhana. The power will be sold to MSEDCL under a 2022 agreement at INR 3.05 per unit. Samruddhi is now India's first expressway to install solar generation. MSRDC aims to scale up to 204 MW across various interchanges, using the solar power for highway lighting and generating carbon credits.
