However, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is struggling to complete two smaller road overbridges, comprising only three percent of MTHL's size. The Vikhroli overbridge, initiated in May 2018, faced delays due to design changes, encroachments, and utility shifts, increasing costs from Rs 47.75 to Rs 97.37 crore.
