The new Belasis Bridge in Mumbai is set to open by December 31, 2025, ahead of its original deadline of April 2026. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has begun dismantling cycle tracks in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) as part of a traffic management plan to ease severe congestion. Using high-capacity cranes, trailers, and other specialised equipment, over 100 workers and engineers, supported by traffic management teams, ensured safe execution. The Wadala-Kasarvadavali Metro Line 4 is now 84.5% complete. Earlier this week, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation revealed plans to widen and open more than two hundred roads across the city, affecting approximately 8 767 properties. Works are set to commence in the coming days on just over one hundred roads spread across five zones. It was stated that residents possessing proof of occupancy before 2010 would receive alternative arrangements, while legally acquired properties would be compensated.
