Ahmedabad civic body proposes major road expansions impacting residential properties

Earlier this week, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation revealed plans to widen and open more than two hundred roads across the city, affecting approximately 8 767 properties. Works are set to commence in the coming days on just over one hundred roads spread across five zones. It was stated that residents possessing proof of occupancy before 2010 would receive alternative arrangements, while legally acquired properties would be compensated.
