Executed by Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, 5.52 km of the 8.7 km treated water tunnel under Package 1 is completed, overcoming geological and operational challenges. The scheme, including 13.25 km of raw water and 15.4 km of treated water tunnels, aims to raise the city's water capacity from 150 million litres per day (MLD) to 270 MLD.
