BMC to deploy INR 36,623 crore from fixed deposits for infrastructure push in 2026-27 budget

Large allocations have been made for coastal roads, sewage treatment upgrades, road concretisation, water security and healthcare infrastructure. Chennai-Bengaluru expressway to cut travel time to two hours by year-end, says Nitin Gadkari
