The proposed Sonepur greenfield airport in Bihar has moved forward after receiving site clearance from the Union civil aviation ministry, with the state government initiating the tender process. The Centre has approved INR 97 crore for upgrading Sairang railway station in Mizoram into a world-class facility. The decision was shared in the state assembly by Chief Minister Lalduhoma.
