Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has launched the Swamitva Yojana in Hamirpur, distributing property cards to 10 families from each of 11 tehsils. The welfare scheme, led by the Revenue Department, aims to give rightful ownership to villagers in Abadi Deh areas. Over 4,230 families across these 190 villages will receive property cards in the first phase. Drone-assisted mapping has covered 13,599 villages, and Hamirpur became the first district to grant these rights. Mumbai's monsoon season has resulted in 16,162 reported potholes across the city, with 42% located on the Eastern and Western Express Highways. Tamil Nadu inaugurated India's first industrial housing facility at SIPCOT Industrial Park, Sriperumbudur, accommodating 18,720 employees. Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MahaMetro) reports significant progress in Nagpur Metro Phase II, having acquired over 50% of the 9-hectare land required.
