Synopsis

Espire Hospitality Limited has entered into an agreement with Marriott International to develop a JW Marriott Resort & Spa near Vrindavan. Spread across 14 acres, the project will feature 151 keys, including villas and a Presidential Suite, and is expected to be operational in the coming years. The development reflects a continued push towards expanding the ultra-luxury hospitality segment, with a focus on experiential stays, wellness amenities, and large-format event infrastructure catering to both leisure and corporate demand.

Espire Hospitality Limited has announced a new addition to its luxury portfolio through a partnership with Marriott International, with plans to develop a JW Marriott Resort & Spa near Vrindavan. The project follows the company’s earlier developments in the high-end hospitality segment and signals continued expansion in premium destinations.

The proposed resort will be located within driving distance of major urban centres such as New Delhi, Gurugram, and Noida, offering both accessibility and a relatively secluded environment. Spread over 14 acres, the development is being planned as a low-density luxury retreat, with landscaped surroundings, water features, and open green spaces forming a central part of the design.

The property is expected to feature 151 keys, including guest rooms, villas, and a Presidential Suite. The project is being positioned to cater to a mix of demand segments, including leisure travellers, corporate guests, conferences, and large-format social events such as weddings. The design approach is expected to incorporate sustainability considerations, local craftsmanship, and regionally inspired elements.

Senior leadership at Espire Hospitality indicated that the partnership aligns with its strategy to expand its presence in the ultra-luxury segment. The company conveyed that the project is being developed as a high-end hospitality destination that integrates contemporary design with natural surroundings and cultural elements. It further indicated that the collaboration reflects its broader focus on scaling its premium portfolio through partnerships with global operators.

The resort is planned to include multiple dining venues, including an all-day restaurant and a specialty outlet with outdoor seating, along with a poolside bar. Wellness facilities are expected to form a key component, with plans for a spa, fitness centre, salon, and dedicated recreational areas, including a children’s zone and water-based attractions.

In addition to hospitality offerings, the project will include event infrastructure such as a ballroom, landscaped outdoor venues, and meeting spaces, positioning it as a destination for corporate gatherings and social functions.

Espire Hospitality Limited currently manages a portfolio of 20 hotels and resorts across brands such as Six Senses Fort Barwara and other hospitality formats. The company has outlined plans to expand further, with multiple new hotel and resort developments expected to be added to its portfolio over the coming years, reflecting sustained growth in India’s premium hospitality segment.
