Jindal Stainless Ltd has entered the retail segment with the launch of its stainless steel rebar brand Jindal Infinity, extending its presence into the construction value chain.

With this development, the company is moving beyond its traditional business-to-business model and will now directly cater to end consumers, builders, and fabricators, strengthening its position in the construction materials segment.

The company’s managing director Abhyuday Jindal conveyed that the initiative represents a strategic extension of its capabilities into the construction value chain and is aimed at bringing advanced solutions closer to Indian consumers. He also highlighted that the move aligns with the company’s broader focus on promoting safer, more resilient, and quality-driven infrastructure. The stainless steel rebars have been positioned as offering higher resistance to corrosion and a higher critical chloride threshold compared to conventional rebars, which improves durability in harsh and aggressive environments.

Head of sales Rajeev Garg noted that the expanding distributor and dealer network is helping the company build scale. He added that early market response reflects a clear demand for high-performance and differentiated construction materials, particularly in applications where long-term durability and reliability are critical.

The company reported an annual turnover of INR 40,182 crore in FY25 and is expanding its manufacturing capacity to 4.2 million tonnes by FY27. It operates 16 stainless steel manufacturing and processing facilities across India and international locations, including Spain and Indonesia. Its global presence spans 12 countries, while in India it maintains 10 sales offices and six service centres as of March 2025.
