Mumbai-based real estate developer Platinum Corp. has entered into a design collaboration with interior designer Sussanne Khan for a set of upcoming residential developments planned across key micro-markets in Mumbai, including Bandra, Khar, Santacruz and Andheri. The partnership forms part of the developer's 2026 development pipeline and is aimed at integrating interior design planning more closely with architectural and lifestyle-led residential formats. Khan will be involved across shared and private residential spaces, with a focus on understated, experience-driven interiors aligned with Platinum Corp's redevelopment-led luxury housing strategy. The developer stated that the collaboration seeks to deliver consistency in design language across select projects, while retaining functional planning and long-term residential usability within high-density urban locations.
Luxury-focused real estate developer Platinum Corp has announced a collaboration with interior designer Sussanne Khan for a series of upcoming residential projects across Mumbai. The association will cover select developments planned in established western suburbs such as Bandra, Khar, Santacruz and Andheri, as well as other identified locations, as part of the company's near-term project pipeline.
According to the developer, the collaboration is intended to integrate interior design considerations into the early stages of project planning, particularly for common areas and lifestyle spaces within residential developments. The projects fall largely within Platinum Corp's redevelopment portfolio, where design coordination plays a key role due to site constraints, regulatory frameworks and expectations of end-users in premium urban housing.
Sussanne Khan, who has over two decades of experience in interior design, will work alongside Platinum Corp's in-house teams and its founder and chief executive Vishal Ratanghayra, who is a trained architect. The developer indicated that the partnership is structured to align architectural planning with interior layouts, material selection and spatial flow, rather than treating interiors as a post-construction add-on.
Khan's role will extend across shared residential areas such as entrance lobbies, arrival zones, business lounges, fitness facilities, landscaped spaces, banquet halls and terrace-level amenities. The intention, according to the company, is to ensure design continuity across resident-facing spaces while maintaining functionality and durability suited to long-term residential use.
Platinum Corp stated that the collaboration reflects its broader approach to positioning redevelopment-led projects within the premium housing segment, where buyers increasingly evaluate design quality, shared amenities and overall spatial experience alongside location and build quality. The company has delivered multiple residential developments in Mumbai over the past decade, with a focus on timely execution and compact luxury formats in land-constrained neighbourhoods.
The developer added that the projects under this collaboration are at varying stages of planning and approvals, and further details on individual developments will be disclosed as they progress through the regulatory and construction cycle. The association with Khan is expected to continue across multiple projects, subject to design requirements and project timelines.
