Synopsis

Brick & Bolt has announced a renewed focus on transforming the construction of schools and educational institutions across India through its technology-led, governance-first delivery model. The company said it aims to bring greater predictability, accountability and execution certainty to education infrastructure projects, where adherence to academic timelines is critical. By leveraging AI-driven planning, digital monitoring tools and structured quality governance, Brick & Bolt seeks to address long-standing challenges such as delays, fragmented responsibilities and quality inconsistencies. The approach is intended to enable educational institutions to concentrate on learning outcomes while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within approved budgets and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Brick & Bolt, a technology-enabled construction company, announced earlier this month that it is sharpening its focus on the planning, construction and delivery of schools and educational institutions across India. The company said the initiative is aimed at redefining education infrastructure construction by introducing AI-led predictability, stronger governance and execution certainty in a sector where academic calendars and regulatory compliance leave little room for delay.

The company noted that construction of educational facilities in India has traditionally faced challenges such as fragmented accountability, limited transparency and weak oversight. These issues have often led to time overruns and inconsistencies in quality, directly affecting academic schedules, admissions cycles, institutional credibility and trust among parents and regulators.

Brick & Bolt said it is addressing these challenges through an end-to-end execution model that offers single-point accountability from design through to handover. The model is supported by AI-driven planning systems, financial discipline and a structured quality governance framework. According to the company, this system-driven approach is designed to replace uncertainty with predictable delivery, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within approved budgets and built for long-term use.

Commenting on the company's focus on education infrastructure, Jayesh Rajpurohit, Chief Executive Officer of Brick & Bolt, said that educational infrastructure plays a foundational role in learning outcomes, making execution certainty and construction quality critical. He stated that the company's AI-led platform provides clarity and control across design, compliance, quality and timelines, enabling education leaders to develop future-ready campuses with greater confidence and long-term value.

Brick & Bolt said it has onboarded a wide range of educational projects, ranging from facilities of about 5,000 square feet to large campuses exceeding 200,000 square feet. These include projects for Ryan International Academy across multiple locations, KPIAS Academy, Gowtham Model School, T. John Institute, MelFell Preschool and daycare centres, among others. The company said these projects demonstrate its ability to manage design complexity, maintain quality consistency across locations and align handovers with strict academic timelines.

At the core of its institutional offering is an AI-led digital ecosystem comprising more than 16 integrated applications. Each project is supported by digital twin building information models, real-time progress dashboards and stage-wise quality and financial tracking. Brick & Bolt said this allows institutional owners to maintain full visibility and control over construction without the need for constant site visits.

Quality assurance is implemented through the company's proprietary Quality Assessment System for Construction, QASCON, which includes more than 1,153 structured quality checkpoints and multi-level audits at both site and central levels. The company said it is fully compliant with India's National Building Code, covering structural safety, fire and life safety, accessibility standards, building services and statutory approvals.

Timelines are contractually defined and digitally monitored, with live progress updates available through the company's customer application. Brick & Bolt stated that this approach has resulted in a low incidence of delays across its institutional projects. With more than 10,142 projects delivered across India, the company said it continues to work closely with school promoters, education trusts, K-12 groups, higher education institutions and preschool chains to support the development of education infrastructure nationwide.
