Adani Power has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd (BSPGCL) to construct a new 2,400 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power plant in Pirpainti, Bihar. Sunsure Energy has signed a landmark 15-year agreement with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN) to supply 500 MWh of peak power from a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) as the end procurer.
