Avaada Group has commissioned 11 solar power projects in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0 to provide reliable daytime electricity for irrigation. The projects, ranging from 2 MW to 5 MW, are expected to benefit nearly 14,900 farmers across 167 villages, improving irrigation, reducing costs, and creating additional income through land leasing. Vikram Solar has secured a supply order worth nearly INR 273 crore from AB Energia for 200 MW of M10R N-Type TOPCon modules. Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC) has initiated the transfer of Gurugram's rapid metro operations from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to Gurugram Metro Rail Limited, with joint management in place during the transition. Passenger numbers surged 13.6 per cent and fare revenue rose by nearly 12 per cent from April to July, reflecting public confidence in the service. Operational costs declined, while non-fare revenue from rentals and advertising increased significantly. The Srinagar-Jammu National Highway has reopened for heavy vehicles after a three-week closure caused by heavy rains and flash floods. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reset deadlines for several key bridge and flyover projects to improve coordination and ease traffic congestion. The Vidyavihar Flyover will see its eastern side completed by December 2025 and the western section by May 2026, pending relocation of affected residents. Sion Flyover is also scheduled for May 2026, while a delayed foot overbridge there is now due in October 2025. At Mahalaxmi, the city's first cable-stayed rail overbridge is targeted for November 2026. Bellasis Flyover near Mumbai Central has an internal deadline of December 2025. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has announced that the 20-km Mumbai Monorail network will be shut from September 20 for a two-month upgrade programme. The decision follows a series of technical failures in recent weeks, including trains stalling during heavy rain. The upgrade plan involves inducting new rakes, installing an advanced signalling system, and overhauling the existing fleet. Once complete, train frequency is expected to improve to 8-10 minutes. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the final stretch of Mumbai's underground Metro Line 3 from Acharya Atre Chowk in Worli to Cuffe Parade on September 30.
