Keystone Realtors is gearing up to launch a super luxury residential project in Bandra, Mumbai, with a GDV of around INR 3,000 crore. The company has recorded property sales of INR 1,839 crore in the first half of the fiscal year, a 40 per cent increase annually, and aims to achieve INR 4,000 crore in bookings. Keystone plans four more project launches in the second half of the year, investing INR 950 crore in construction. GHR Infra, Lakshmi Infra and Urbanblocks Realty have jointly acquired Neopolis Plot 15 in Hyderabad at a record bid of INR 151.25 crore per acre during Phase 3 of the HMDA auction held earlier this week. The 4.03-acre north-east corner parcel, featuring dual 150-ft road frontages, marks the highest bid recorded so far within Neopolis and the second-highest land price achieved in Telangana. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone for a new brownfield ammonia-urea manufacturing plant at Namrup in Assam's Dibrugarh district, marking a major boost to the state's fertiliser and industrial infrastructure. Built with an investment of 10,601 crore, the project will come up within the existing Namrup fertiliser complex through a joint venture led by public sector and state-backed companies. The modern, energy-efficient facility will produce 12.7 lakh metric tonnes of urea annually and is expected to be operational by 2030. The project will support fertiliser supply across the Northeast and eastern India, while also driving regional industrial growth and employment.Read more

SEPC Ltd has won a INR 269.69 crore subcontract for civil, track and allied works on the Ajmer Chanderiya Doubling Project under the Ajmer Division of North Western Railway. The contract was awarded by Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd as part of the VPRPL-SBEL joint venture and involves extensive earthwork, bridges, road under bridges, limited height subways, station buildings, platforms, staff quarters, ballast works and other infrastructure in the Mandpiya to Chanderiya section. This order is part of Indian Railways capacity expansion programme and adds to SEPC's growing transportation infrastructure portfolio.Read more

Walmart Global Technology Services India Pvt Ltd, the technology arm of US retail giant Walmart, has leased 1.01 lakh sq ft of office space in north Bengaluru, near Kempegowda International Airport. The five year lease at a monthly rent of around INR 49 lakh includes a 4% annual rent escalation and a security deposit of INR 3.90 crore. The space will house the Walmart Contact Center serving US customers. This move follows its earlier large leases in Chennai and Bengaluru, showing growing interest in emerging office corridors and Global Capability Centres.Read more

IBM India Pvt. Ltd. has signed a five year lease for about 1.61 lakh sq ft of office space at Embassy Golflinks Business Park in Bengaluru, with a monthly rent of around INR 2.4 crore at INR 150 per sq ft. The agreement includes a 45 day rent free period for fit out, a three year lock in, and a security deposit of INR 14.5 crore. Residential units built under the Smart City programme in Hubballi continue to remain vacant despite being allotted to displaced families, highlighting persistent delays in handover. The houses, constructed at the Kallur layout to rehabilitate families affected by a major road expansion project, are yet to be occupied due to the absence of basic civic amenities. Beneficiaries who received allotment orders earlier have been unable to move in as electricity connections, sanitation facilities and other essential services are still pending.
