• Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation has completed the installation of all 40 stay cables for the under-construction Byculla Cable-Stayed Road Over Bridge in Mumbai.
• The four-lane bridge spans 916 metres and includes a 50-metre-high pylon designed to improve east-west connectivity across Byculla.
• The project is being developed at an estimated cost of around INR 287 crore and is expected to improve traffic movement between South Mumbai, Dadar and the Eastern Express Highway.
• Officials stated that the bridge is in its final phase of construction and is expected to provide weather-resilient connectivity for commuters.
