Travellers seeking a luxurious stay in Goa will soon have a new option. The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), known for its iconic Taj Hotels, has announced a partnership with Bharat Realty Venture to build a new 170-key Taj property on 17 acres of beachfront land in Anjuna, North Goa.

This marks a significant milestone for IHCL, adding their sixth Taj Hotel to Goa's vibrant hospitality scene. The upcoming resort promises to be a luxurious escape, sprawled across the beachfront with breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. With 170 keys, it offers guests the promise of spacious accommodations and personalised service.

The new Taj hotel will cater to a variety of traveller preferences. Guests can indulge in a range of culinary experiences, from an all-day dining restaurant to a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a lounge. For those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, the J Wellness Circle will offer a variety of spa and wellness treatments.

Uniquely, this resort will have North Goa's largest dining area with outdoor grounds, perfect for hosting social gatherings and weddings. This 17-acre property will provide ample space for events, offering a stunning oceanfront backdrop for celebrations of up to 500 guests (estimated based on standard wedding venue capacities).

Anjuna, the chosen location, is known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant culture. It offers a unique blend of traditional charm and modern allure, attracting tourists seeking a relaxing coastal getaway. The bohemian vibe and scenic beauty of Anjuna will complement the luxurious experience offered by the new Taj Hotel.

Both IHCL and Bharat Realty Venture see this collaboration as a way to elevate Goa's tourism industry. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have a total of 16 properties across their various brands (Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger) in Goa, with five more under development. This signifies their commitment to Goa's hospitality sector and its continued growth.

Bharat Realty Venture, primarily focused on real estate development in Mumbai, sees this partnership as a response to the post-pandemic travel surge. Recognizing Goa's enduring popularity as a tourist destination, they believe this new Taj Hotel will cater to the growing demand for luxury travel experiences.
