Amitabh Bachchan's new apartments are on the 57th floor of a tower developed by Incline Realty, a subsidiary of Oberoi Realty. He paid nearly INR 7 crore for the apartments, and the stamp duty for registration was INR 40.72 lakh. These deals took place on May 29, according to documents accessed through Zapkey.com.

Interestingly, Abhishek Bachchan's recent purchase in the same building sheds light on another facet of this trend. He acquired six apartments totaling 4,894 sq ft, with two of them being compact units measuring just 252 sq ft each. These smaller apartments could be classified as studio apartments, also known as 1 RK (room kitchen) units.

This seemingly unusual choice by Abhishek Bachchan aligns with a common practice in Mumbai's real estate market. Often, when developers purchase industrial land and convert it into residential use, they are required to construct a certain percentage of affordable housing units as part of the project.
