CtrlS Datacenters, a leading Indian data centre provider, has revealed a massive INR 2,200 crore expansion plan for the city, Kolkata. This ambitious project aims to transform Kolkata into a major hub for cutting-edge data storage and connectivity, catering to businesses of all sizes, government agencies, and large-scale cloud providers (hyperscalers).
At the heart of this initiative lies a brand new data centre campus planned for New Town, Kolkata. This multi-phase project will offer a staggering 60 MW of IT load capacity, making it one of the largest data centres in eastern India.
