Passenger safety is further enhanced with the installation of a minimum of 64 CCTV cameras at each Metro station, covering vital areas such as platforms, road levels, and concourses, and accessible through the 24-hour Operation Control Centre and Security Control Room.
MMOCL has completed all pre-monsoon maintenance activities, including the inspection of trains, rails, stations, platforms, signalling, electrical and telecommunication equipment, and the Charkop and Wadala depots. Necessary materials and equipment for both major and minor train overhauls of metro and monorail have been stocked. Thorough inspections of both ballasted and ballastless tracks have been conducted to ensure optimal functionality.
