Dusit Hotels and Resorts, a division of Dusit International, a Thai hotel and property development company, has inked a deal with Pearl Atoll Pvt Ltd to oversee the management of dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives - a chic resort comprising 125 rooms situated on a secluded island near Male, the capital of Maldives. Scheduled for completion and grand opening in the fourth quarter of 2024, this upcoming resort will be operated under Dusit's upscale dusitD2 brand and marks the company's inaugural venture into the 'all-inclusive' accommodation model. Apart from offering spacious overwater villas and family suites spanning from 77 to 319 square metres, the resort will feature a vibrant array of amenities including a kids club, multiple dining options, a fully equipped fitness centre, and a signature Namm Spa presenting an extensive selection of Thai massage therapies and beauty treatments. Guests can unwind on three main private beaches or opt for a more intimate experience at the smaller 'picnic beach'
Capitalising on the resort's close proximity to Male International Airport, just a brief five-minute speedboat ride away, the developers of the resort are planning to introduce an entertainment hub and a compact convention centre on-site, targeting guests seeking experiences beyond the traditional resort offerings. These additional facilities, to be managed by Dusit as well, will be unveiled at a later stage.
