To address the predicted rush in applications as a result of the new policy, the KMC has warned executive engineers in critical areas like Behala, the Tollygunge-Jadavpur belt, Garia, and other regions off the EM Bypass to prepare for increased workload in plan approvals. These localities have seen a significant increase in construction activity, demanding proactive efforts by civic authorities to efficiently handle the influx of applications.
