Anticipating the confidence of securing a third term for his government, Modi showed the groundbreaking commencement of numerous railway projects. He specifically laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 553 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, emphasising the transformative vision for India's rail network.
Reflecting on the progress made in the past decade, Modi highlighted the modernization efforts within the railways, including the introduction of Vande Bharat trains, emphasis on cleanliness, and track electrification. He took a dig at previous administrations, asserting that his government curbed corruption and utilised public funds efficiently for expanding railway services.
Moreover, Modi stressed the important role of the Indian Railways in enhancing travel convenience and generating employment opportunities. He cautioned against revenue leaks due to scams, emphasising the need for financial integrity to ensure the effective utilisation of increased budgetary allocations.
In a bid to promote local culture and artisans, renovated railway stations are being utilised as platforms for showcasing regional diversity. Modi reiterated his commitment to the aspirations of India's youth, stating, "Your dreams and hard work and my resolve are a guarantee of Viksit Bharat."
The event witnessed the participation of several governors, chief ministers, MPs, and MLAs across the country, signalling widespread support for the transformative agenda set forth by the Modi government.
