Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated infrastructure projects in Gujarat, among the projects was the Sudarshan Setu Bridge, linking the Okha mainland to Beyt Dwarka island, constructed at a cost of approximately INR 980 crore. This 2.32km cable-stayed bridge has verses from the Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna, featuring a unique design and its footpath has solar panels. The bridge replaces the reliance on boat transport for pilgrims to reach Beyt Dwarka, enhancing connectivity and accessibility.

During the inauguration, PM Modi emphasised the decentralisation of government programs, highlighting the shift from Delhi to various corners of the country. Additionally, he launched a pipeline project in Vadinar, focusing on infrastructure development in Gujarat. He virtually initiated medical facilities across 23 states and Union Territories, marking a significant step in healthcare infrastructure.

PM Modi's focus on healthcare infrastructure was evident as he laid foundation stones for 200 health projects totaling over INR 11,500 crore nationwide. Notably, he virtually dedicated five All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in different states, along with other medical institutions, showing the government's commitment to boosting the healthcare sector. In contrast to previous delays in such attempts, he pointed out that the recent establishment of 7 AIIMS in less than 10 days demonstrates the rapid pace of progress.

Speaking at a public rally in Rajkot, PM Modi reflected on recent inaugurations in Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting the establishment of educational institutes like IITs, IIITs, IIMs, and IIS. He emphasised the significance of these initiatives in shaping India's future and fostering educational excellence across regions.

Reflecting on his association with Rajkot, PM Modi acknowledged the support he has received from the constituency, transcending generational boundaries. He shared his experience of scuba diving in Dwarka, expressing profound spiritual reverence for the ancient city and its cultural significance. He showed the divine inspiration derived from such experiences, reaffirming his commitment to the holistic development of India.

PM Modi's thoughts include a broader vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) that is rooted in spiritual ethos and driven by modern development measures.
