Yotta Data Services has launched the Yotta G1 Data Centre in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, marking its entry into Gujarat. The state-of-the-art facility, the fifth in Yotta's network, is set within the International Financial Services Center zone, offering over 350 high-density racks and scalable power. G1 uniquely serves as a 'data embassy,' allowing international firms to store data under their home country's laws. This launch follows Yotta's introduction of Shakti and Yntraa Cloud services, strengthening its position as a leading digital transformation and cloud service provider in India.
Yotta Data Services, a leader in comprehensive digital transformation solutions, has officially unveiled its latest venture, the Yotta G1 Data Centre, in Gujarat's GIFT City. This state-of-the-art facility, first announced at Vibrant Gujarat, marks Yotta's entry into the Gujarat market and enhances its mission to expand digital capabilities across India's rapidly growing sectors.
Yotta G1 stands out as the fifth data centre in the company's national network, joining its expansive facilities in Navi Mumbai and Greater Noida. Uniquely located in the International Financial Services Center (IFSC) zone of Gandhinagar, G1 is set to be more than just a traditional data centre. With an investment of over INR 500 crores spanning five years, the facility boasts over 350 high-density racks and a scalable 2 MW power supply, designed to meet a spectrum of digital demands from global and local enterprises.
The G1 Data Centre's strategic location within the IFSC zone offers a novel concept of a 'data embassy.' For international enterprises operating in the GIFT City IFSC, this means their data stored in G1 will be governed by their home country's laws, ensuring data sovereignty. This feature is particularly crucial for maintaining operational continuity during disruptions and adheres to IFSC's compliance requirements, including mandatory local data hosting.
Yotta Data Services is part of the real estate developer Hiranandani group. Darshan Hiranandani, Co-founder and Chairman of Yotta Data Services, highlights the significance of Gujarat and GIFT City as a sustainable platform for global businesses. He commented that the establishment of the IFSC zone aligns with their vision to offer cutting-edge technologies, facilitating businesses to scale while meeting regulatory norms.
Sunil Gupta, Co-Founder, MD & CEO of Yotta Data Services, further added that G1 represents a pivotal step in delivering a comprehensive range of data services, including Cloud, AI, storage, and cybersecurity, tailored for both local and international enterprises.
G1's offerings go beyond mere colocation services, embodying Yotta's reputation as a holistic digital transformation partner. It provides a suite of solutions encompassing advanced data security, custom business solutions, an indigenous hyperscale cloud offering, AI-GPU compute capabilities, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and 24/7 customer support.
This development follows Yotta's recent introduction of Shakti Cloud and Yntraa Cloud. Shakti Cloud, powered by NVIDIA's GPUs, is India's largest AI-HPC supercomputer, offering a range of services from infrastructure to software solutions. Meanwhile, Yntraa Cloud presents a robust hyperscale cloud platform, on par with global standards, offering an extensive array of cloud products and services.
In conclusion, the launch of Yotta G1 in GIFT City represents a significant milestone in Gujarat's digital journey, offering advanced data solutions and reinforcing India's position in the global digital landscape. With this new facility, Yotta not only extends its footprint in the Indian market but also positions itself as a key player in the international data services arena, catering to the intricate needs of global businesses while adhering to the highest standards of security and compliance.
