The Trichy district administration is inviting qualified professionals such as civil engineers and architects to seek temporary recognition for expediting the plan approval process for residential and commercial constructions in rural areas. The initiative aligns with the Tamil Nadu government's online service for plan approvals, allowing eligible professionals to play a vital role in the issuance of building plans. The call is open to architects, engineers, structural engineers, construction engineers, quality auditors, town planners, and developers. Applications can be submitted through email or in person, and the deadline is November 24. The recognition granted is temporary, subject to the collector's approval.
The Trichy district administration is paving the way for a more efficient and streamlined process of plan approvals for residential and commercial constructions in rural areas by extending an invitation to qualified professionals. The call is open to a range of experts, including civil engineers and architects, who can seek temporary recognition to facilitate the issuance of building plans to applicants. In a recent statement, Trichy Collector M Pradeepkumar emphasized the implementation of an online service by the Tamil Nadu government, which allows individuals to apply for plan approvals for various types of constructions, including residential and commercial buildings, residential plots, and industries in rural areas. The district administration is actively encouraging construction engineers and technical experts to submit their applications, thereby seeking temporary recognition. This recognition will empower them to play a crucial role in the generation and issuance of building plans, expediting the overall process. Eligible professionals who can apply for this recognition encompass a broad spectrum, including architects, engineers, structural engineers, construction engineers, quality auditors, town planners, and developers. To initiate the process, applicants are required to submit photocopies of their educational qualifications, Aadhaar card, and other essential documents. The submission can be made either through the designated email address, adptry@nic.in or directly at the office of the Assistant Director of Panchayats. The deadline for submitting applications is set for November 24. However, it is essential to note that the recognition granted is of a temporary nature. The collector holds the exclusive authority to approve or reject the applications, signifying a discretionary element in the process. This strategic move is part of a broader government initiative aimed at enhancing efficiency and transparency in the plan approval process for building constructions in rural areas, aligning with the overarching goal of fostering sustainable development in the region.
