Mappstore is expanding its artificial intelligence-led conversational commerce platform as businesses increasingly adopt WhatsApp-based automation systems to manage customer engagement, order processing and operational workflows.

The Bengaluru-based startup, founded by Sooraj Kumar, Lakshya Sharma and Manu George, has developed VibeFlow, a platform that enables businesses to create AI-powered WhatsApp workflows without requiring coding or dedicated software development resources.

The platform is being used by businesses across sectors to automate functions including appointment bookings, product sales, customer support, lead generation, payments and delivery coordination through conversational interfaces.

According to the company, the system allows business owners to describe operational requirements in plain English, following which the platform automatically generates functional WhatsApp workflows integrated with APIs, payment gateways, logistics systems, forms, CRM actions and automation tools, typically within a minute.

One of the businesses using the platform is Bengaluru-based bakery brand Cakeophilics, which adopted VibeFlow to automate customer order intake for custom cake requests. The bakery had earlier relied on manual WhatsApp conversations to gather information related to order specifications, dietary preferences, delivery timings and design references.

Deepak, who operates Cakeophilics, stated that repetitive customer conversations had become increasingly difficult to manage as the business expanded. Through the automated workflow, customer requirements are now collected and routed directly to the operational team without manual intervention.

Lakshya Sharma, co-founder of Mappstore, stated that businesses were increasingly seeking outcome-driven operational systems rather than complex dashboard-based software. He said advancements in artificial intelligence were enabling direct translation of business requirements into functioning workflow systems.

The startup stated that more than 1,000 businesses are currently using the platform, with adoption growing at approximately 50% month-on-month during the current quarter.

Sooraj Kumar said businesses were already using WhatsApp extensively for sales, customer support and transaction management, and the company was developing infrastructure to convert those conversations into structured business workflows.

The company stated that VibeFlow functions more as a workflow engine than a conventional chatbot platform. Apart from conversational automation, the system supports Razorpay payment processing, delivery coordination through logistics providers such as Shadowfax, structured customer data collection, PDF parsing and CRM integration in real time.

Mappstore has also introduced a reseller model that allows agencies and consultants to operate white-labelled WhatsApp automation businesses using the company’s infrastructure. According to the founders, the model has accelerated adoption among small and medium businesses that often lack access to technical implementation capabilities.

Beyond workflow automation, the company has launched mappsto.re, which it describes as a discovery marketplace for AI-powered conversational businesses. The platform aggregates conversational storefronts across categories including food ordering, direct-to-consumer brands, healthcare, customer support and local services.

Businesses using VibeFlow can list their conversational storefronts directly on the marketplace, enabling customers to discover and interact with businesses through AI-led chat interfaces rather than traditional websites or applications.

India remains one of the world’s largest messaging-driven commerce markets, supported by a WhatsApp user base exceeding 500 million. A substantial share of customer interactions and transactions across small businesses still occurs through informal chat-based communication channels.

Mappstore stated that its long-term approach focuses on transforming these unstructured interactions into programmable, AI-driven commerce systems capable of operating as independent digital storefront ecosystems.
