KEC International, part of the RPG Group, has secured new orders worth INR 1,002 crore across its transmission and distribution, renewable energy, transportation, and cables businesses. The contracts include a 500 kV HVDC transmission line project in western India, cabling works in eastern India, and equipment supply in the Americas. The company has also won a wind energy project exceeding 100 MW in southern India and signalling contracts in the railways segment. These additions strengthen its domestic and international order book, particularly in high-voltage transmission and renewable energy. The company operates across more than 110 countries, covering EPC and infrastructure supply segments.
KEC International Ltd, an infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction company under the RPG Group, announced in the past week that it has secured new orders totalling INR 1,002 crore across multiple business verticals, including transmission and distribution, renewable energy, transportation and cables.
The transmission and distribution (T&D) segment accounted for a significant share of the order inflows, with projects secured across India and the Americas. Among these is a 500 kV high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission line awarded by a private sector developer in western India. The company also secured a 132 kV cabling contract from a steel producer in eastern India, alongside orders involving the supply of towers, hardware and poles in international markets across the Americas.
In the renewable energy segment, the company has been awarded a wind power project exceeding 100 MW in southern India by a private developer. The order reflects continued activity in the wind energy space, particularly from repeat clients, indicating sustained demand within the renewable infrastructure segment.
The transportation business has secured two contracts in the automatic block signalling (ABS) segment in southern India. These projects involve the deployment of technology-enabled signalling systems aimed at improving railway network efficiency and safety, in line with ongoing modernisation efforts in the rail sector.
Additionally, the cables and conductors business has received multiple orders across domestic and international markets, contributing to the diversified nature of the company’s order inflow during the period.
The company’s management indicated that the HVDC transmission order has strengthened its domestic T&D order book, particularly in the high-voltage segment. It also noted that the renewables business has expanded its presence in the wind energy segment through repeat engagements, while the transportation vertical continues to build its position in advanced signalling systems.
KEC International operates across more than 110 countries, with activities spanning EPC services as well as the supply of towers and cables. The latest order wins reflect ongoing infrastructure investments across power transmission, renewable energy and transportation sectors, both within India and in overseas markets.
