• The Uttar Pradesh government has issued fresh allotment letters to companies for projects in the YEIDA region near the upcoming Noida International Airport.
• The proposed developments are expected to attract investments worth nearly INR 6,000 crore and generate around 10,000 jobs.
• The allotments form part of the state’s broader strategy to strengthen industrial, logistics and commercial growth along the Yamuna Expressway corridor.
The Uttar Pradesh government has accelerated industrial expansion plans in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region by issuing fresh allotment letters to multiple companies for proposed industrial and commercial projects near the upcoming Noida International Airport corridor.
Officials stated that the newly approved projects are expected to attract investments of nearly INR 5,800 crore to INR 6,000 crore while creating close to 10,000 employment opportunities across industrial, manufacturing and service sectors. The latest allotments are being viewed as part of the state’s ongoing push to strengthen economic activity and infrastructure-led growth along the Yamuna Expressway belt.
According to officials, land parcels have been allotted to 17 companies for development of industrial units, manufacturing facilities, institutional projects and business-linked infrastructure. The projects are expected to support expansion of industrial ecosystems emerging around Jewar and adjoining regions.
The allotments come amid rising investor interest in the YEIDA region following rapid progress on the Noida International Airport project. Authorities have increasingly positioned the airport-led corridor as a major destination for manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, electronics and commercial investments.
Government officials stated that the latest round of investments would contribute towards strengthening industrial output, employment generation and supporting infrastructure growth across western Uttar Pradesh. The state has simultaneously been expanding road connectivity, utility infrastructure and urban services within the YEIDA region to accommodate future industrial and commercial demand.
The Yamuna Expressway corridor has emerged as one of the fastest-growing development zones in North India due to improving regional connectivity and large-scale infrastructure investments. Alongside airport-led development, the region has also witnessed rising activity across residential, warehousing and commercial real estate segments.
Infrastructure and industrial planners have identified the corridor as a strategic growth zone due to its connectivity with Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and major freight and logistics routes. The state government has also prioritised development of industrial parks, electronics manufacturing clusters and logistics hubs across the broader region.
Officials indicated that the allotment process forms part of a phased development strategy under YEIDA, where additional land parcels are expected to be opened for industrial and commercial projects in the coming months. Authorities are simultaneously focusing on strengthening civic and transport infrastructure to support long-term economic growth around the airport influence zone.
The latest allotments reflect continued momentum in Uttar Pradesh’s industrial investment strategy, with the state increasingly leveraging infrastructure projects and integrated development corridors to attract private sector participation and large-scale capital investment.
