Synopsis

Ashiana Housing has announced an investment of nearly INR 560 crore for a premium residential development in Jaipur. The project, named ‘Ashiana Oma’, is spread across 10.35 acres and is being developed through a joint venture with a revenue-sharing arrangement. The first phase has already been launched and will comprise 280 residential units, while the overall project will include 490 units. The company said the project is aimed at end-user homebuyers looking for spacious homes and lifestyle-focused amenities, reflecting the steady demand for premium housing in Jaipur’s residential market.

Ashiana Housing has announced plans to invest nearly INR 560 crore in a premium residential project in Jaipur as the company expands its presence in the growing housing market of Rajasthan’s capital city.

The Delhi-based developer recently launched the first phase of its 10.35-acre project, ‘Ashiana Oma’. The project will be developed in phases and will comprise a total of 490 residential units. In the first phase alone, the company plans to build 280 units.

According to the company, the project is being developed under a joint venture model with a development partner through a revenue-sharing arrangement. The total estimated cost of the entire development stands at around INR 558.60 crore, while the first phase is expected to require an investment of nearly INR 186.78 crore.

Ankur Gupta, Joint Managing Director of Ashiana Housing, said the project has been planned keeping end-user homebuyers in mind. He added that demand in Jaipur has been steadily rising for spacious premium homes that offer integrated lifestyle amenities and community-focused living.

Jaipur has emerged as a growing residential market over the last few years, driven by infrastructure upgrades, improved connectivity and increasing interest from both local buyers and investors. The city has also witnessed higher demand for organised housing projects, especially in the premium and mid-premium segments.

Ashiana Housing is known for its focus on residential communities, including projects for senior citizens, which remain a key segment for the company. In recent years, the developer has continued to expand across multiple cities with a focus on end-user-driven housing demand rather than speculative development.

The company, which is listed on stock exchanges, has been strengthening its residential portfolio amid continued demand across key urban markets. Developers across the country have increasingly focused on larger homes and amenity-led projects after lifestyle preferences among homebuyers shifted in the past few years.
