Abu Dhabi-based Modon Holding has partnered with Montage Hotels & Resorts to launch an ultra-luxury hospitality and branded residences project at Ras El Hekma on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast. The development, named Montage Ras El Hekma, will mark the hospitality group’s entry into the Egyptian market and introduce branded residences for buyers in the fast-growing coastal destination. The project comes as Ras El Hekma continues to attract major regional and international investments following large-scale tourism and infrastructure development plans announced over the past year.
Modon Holding has entered into a partnership with Montage Hotels & Resorts to develop an ultra-luxury hospitality project at Ras El Hekma in Egypt, according to a Reuters report published over the weekend.
The companies announced that the project, named Montage Ras El Hekma, will introduce the first branded residences available for purchase in the Ras El Hekma region along Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline. The development is expected to combine luxury hospitality offerings with premium residential units aimed at high-end buyers and international investors.
The partnership marks Montage Hotels & Resorts’ entry into Egypt’s hospitality and branded residences market. The company is known globally for operating luxury resorts, hotels and residential properties across destinations in the United States and other international markets.
Ras El Hekma has emerged as one of the most closely watched real estate and tourism destinations in Egypt over the past year after attracting large-scale investments from regional developers and sovereign-backed entities. The coastal area has gained attention for planned tourism infrastructure, hospitality projects and luxury residential developments aimed at boosting Egypt’s tourism economy and foreign investment inflows.
The latest collaboration also reflects the growing trend of hospitality-led residential projects across the Middle East and North Africa region, where developers are increasingly partnering with international hotel brands to strengthen project positioning and attract global buyers.
While financial details and project timelines were not disclosed, the announcement adds to the list of high-profile developments being planned for Ras El Hekma as competition increases among developers looking to establish a presence in the emerging luxury destination.
