Synopsis

Ganesh Green Bharat has secured a domestic order worth over INR 430 crore for the supply of bifacial solar PV modules, strengthening its presence in India's utility-scale solar segment. These modules are designed to generate power from both sides, improving energy output and efficiency. The order will support large-scale solar projects and reflects steady demand for advanced solar technologies. The company's focus on high-efficiency and durable modules aligns with the growing shift towards renewable energy and improved project performance across India's expanding solar infrastructure.

Ganesh Green Bharat has secured a domestic order valued at over INR 430 crore for the supply of bifacial solar PV modules, according to a company statement released in the past week. The order will cater to utility-scale solar projects, where demand for higher efficiency modules has been increasing steadily.

Bifacial solar modules are designed to generate electricity from both the front and rear surfaces, allowing them to capture reflected sunlight and improve overall energy output. This makes them suitable for large projects where maximising generation and optimising land use are key considerations.

The company stated that the order involves the supply of high-efficiency bifacial modules built to deliver better energy yield, along with improved durability and consistent performance. These features are becoming increasingly important as developers focus on long-term reliability and cost efficiency in solar installations.

The development comes at a time when India's solar sector is witnessing a shift towards advanced module technologies. In recent years, there has been a growing preference for bifacial and high-wattage modules, especially in large-scale projects, supported by policy push and capacity expansion targets under the country's renewable energy plans.

Ganesh Green Bharat has been expanding its manufacturing and supply capabilities to meet rising demand in the domestic market. Orders of this scale indicate continued traction for companies offering improved module efficiency and performance standards in utility-scale deployments.
