Govind Kripa Infratech Private Limited, a subsidiary of Globe International Carriers Limited, has signed a memorandum of understanding with OPO Hotels & Resorts to develop and operate an upscale hotel in Mahindra World City SEZ, Jaipur, marking its entry into the hospitality sector.

The proposed project, announced in the past week, will be developed at Ajmer Road within the Mahindra World City special economic zone, a key industrial and business hub in Rajasthan. The hotel will be operated under the OPO Premier Marvel brand and is expected to cater to business travellers, corporate clients and long-stay guests associated with the industrial corridor.

The development will comprise approximately 56 rooms and include facilities such as a restaurant, library, banquet and boardrooms, along with wellness and leisure amenities including a gym, spa and swimming pool. The property is designed to align with the requirements of corporate occupiers and visitors seeking organised accommodation within proximity to industrial clusters.

The site benefits from connectivity via the Jaipur Ajmer Highway and is located within reach of Jaipur International Airport, factors that are expected to support demand from both domestic and visiting business travellers. The location within a special economic zone further positions the asset to cater to companies operating within the industrial ecosystem.

The arrangement between Govind Kripa Infratech and OPO Hotels is structured as a hotel management and business collaboration agreement, under which the hospitality operator will be responsible for managing and operating the property. Detailed agreements are expected to follow in line with the memorandum of understanding.

A spokesperson for Govind Kripa Infratech indicated that the collaboration marks the company's formal entry into the hospitality segment and aligns with its broader strategy to diversify its business portfolio. The spokesperson added that the company is evaluating additional opportunities in the sector as part of its long-term approach to asset optimisation and value creation.

OPO Hotels & Resorts brings operational experience across hotel management, branding, marketing and technology-led distribution, which is expected to support the execution and positioning of the project within the competitive hospitality market.

The initiative reflects a broader trend of companies exploring hospitality-led developments in industrial and special economic zone corridors, where demand for quality accommodation is supported by corporate travel and long-stay requirements. With this project, Govind Kripa Infratech is seeking to establish a presence in branded hospitality assets while leveraging partnerships to manage operations and scale its platform.
