The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has opened an Anna Canteen at its headquarters in Rayapudi, Amaravati, to improve food access for employees working across the office campus and nearby municipal department offices. APCRDA Commissioner V. Vijayarama Raju inaugurated the facility in the presence of senior officials, including Additional Commissioner A. Bhargava Teja. The new canteen is expected to benefit staff by providing affordable meal services within the office premises. The initiative also reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen employee support infrastructure in the capital region's administrative hub.

The facility was inaugurated by APCRDA Commissioner V. Vijayarama Raju, IAS, in the presence of Additional Commissioner A. Bhargava Teja, IAS, who joined the formal opening ceremony. The canteen was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting event held at the APCRDA headquarters.
Following the inauguration, the Commissioner and other senior officials, including APCRDA Engineer-in-Chief R. Gopalakrishna Reddy and Amaravati Development Corporation Limited Chief Engineer CH. Dhanunjaya, had lunch at the newly launched canteen.
The new Anna Canteen has been set up at a time when the APCRDA headquarters and several offices under the municipal administration department are operating from Amaravati-Rayapudi. With a large number of government staff working from the campus, the canteen is expected to offer convenient and accessible meal services within the office premises.
Anna Canteens have been introduced in different parts of Andhra Pradesh to provide hygienic and affordable food, particularly for workers and the general public. The opening of the canteen at the APCRDA office extends that support to employees in Amaravati's government offices and improves basic workplace amenities within the capital region's administrative centre.
