Signature Global has entered into a licensing agreement with Italian brand Tonino Lamborghini to develop a branded luxury residential project in Sector 71, Gurugram. The project, spread over 12.40 acres, will comprise 812 apartments under the Tonino Lamborghini Residences Gurugram branding. This marks the brand's entry into India's residential real estate market. The commercial arrangement includes a fixed fee payable in instalments along with a performance-linked component. The developer has not disclosed the project investment. The development reflects the continued expansion of branded residences in India's premium housing segment, particularly in Gurugram, where developers are increasingly partnering with global lifestyle brands to position projects in the upper-end market.
Signature Global has entered into a licensing agreement with Italian lifestyle brand Tonino Lamborghini to develop a branded luxury residential project in Sector 71, Gurugram, with the announcement made in the past week as part of the company's expansion in the premium housing segment.
The project, titled Tonino Lamborghini Residences Gurugram, will be developed across 12.40 acres and will comprise 812 residential units. The development marks the entry of the Tonino Lamborghini brand into India's residential real estate market through a branding-led partnership model.
Under the agreement, Signature Global will pay a fixed fee to the Italian brand in instalments, along with an additional performance-linked payment contingent on revenue exceeding a specified threshold. The company has not disclosed the total investment for the project.
Management indicated that the collaboration is aimed at introducing international design and lifestyle elements into the project, aligning with evolving demand for branded residences in India's urban housing markets. The developer conveyed that the partnership reflects its strategy to expand offerings in the upper segment of the residential market.
Tonino Lamborghini, through its global brand licensing model, has been associated with hospitality and real estate projects in international markets. With this agreement, the brand is entering India's residential segment, expanding its presence in Asia's growing luxury housing market.
The Gurugram project adds to a growing pipeline of branded residential developments in India, particularly in the National Capital Region, where developers are increasingly collaborating with global brands to differentiate projects and target high-income buyers. Such developments typically combine real estate with lifestyle branding, design inputs and curated amenities.
Signature Global has an established presence in the residential market, with a cumulative delivery of 16.5 million sq ft of real estate as of December 2025. The company reported sales bookings exceeding INR 8,200 crore in the previous financial year, indicating strong demand across its portfolio.
The expansion into branded luxury housing reflects a broader shift in the residential market, where developers are seeking to capture demand from affluent buyers through differentiated offerings. Gurugram, in particular, has emerged as a key market for such developments due to its concentration of corporate occupiers, high-income professionals and established infrastructure.
The project is expected to contribute to the company's premium portfolio while aligning with the increasing presence of international brands in India's real estate sector. The development also highlights the growing intersection between global lifestyle branding and residential real estate, particularly in high-value urban markets.
The agreement structure, involving fixed and performance-linked fees, reflects a standard model in branded real estate partnerships, balancing upfront costs with revenue-based incentives tied to project performance.
