Synopsis

Gorilla Technology Group has expanded its artificial intelligence infrastructure collaboration with Yotta Data Services through a project valued at approximately USD 2.8 billion. The agreement includes deployment of 20,736 B300 GPU cards in India to support large-scale AI compute capacity, with completion targeted by the end of September 2026. The development builds on an existing framework involving high-performance servers and GPUs, and includes participation from NVIDIA. The initiative reflects growing investment in hyperscale AI infrastructure across India’s data centre ecosystem.

Gorilla Technology Group has expanded its collaboration with Yotta Data Services to develop artificial intelligence infrastructure in India, with the latest phase of the project valued at approximately USD 2.8 billion. The announcement was made in the past week.

As part of the expanded agreement, an additional 20,736 B300 GPU cards will be deployed to support large-scale AI computing infrastructure. The deployment is scheduled for completion by the end of September 2026, according to company statements.

This phase builds upon an earlier framework between the two companies, which involved the deployment of around 640 high-performance servers equipped with more than 5,000 GPUs for AI workloads. Deliveries under the initial phase are reported to be on track for completion by the end of July.

The expanded deployment also includes an engagement with NVIDIA, which is expected to account for approximately half of the GPU offtake under the current tranche. The arrangement includes a four-year commitment linked to the development of a large-scale NVIDIA DGX Cloud cluster in India, positioned among the largest in the Asia-Pacific region.

Sunil Gupta, co-founder, managing director and chief executive officer of Yotta Data Services, indicated that the collaboration is aimed at building AI infrastructure at industrial scale in India. He stated that the partnership is supporting the company’s efforts to address increasing demand for hyperscale AI compute capacity from both enterprise and sovereign clients.

Yotta Data Services currently operates hyperscale data centre parks in Panvel, Navi Mumbai, and Greater Noida in the Delhi NCR region. The expansion of AI infrastructure is aligned with the broader growth of India’s data centre sector, driven by rising demand for cloud services, digital transformation, and advanced computing capabilities.

The project reflects increasing capital deployment in high-performance computing infrastructure, as global and domestic firms scale up capabilities to support artificial intelligence applications across industries.
