Synopsis

Supreme Power Equipment has secured domestic transformer supply orders worth INR 128 crore from multiple Hyderabad-based entities, strengthening its near-term revenue visibility. The orders involve the supply of power transformers across capacities of 20 MVA, 112.5 MVA and 160 MVA, with execution timelines ranging between 11 and 17 months. The development reflects ongoing investment momentum in power and infrastructure, particularly in Telangana. The Tamil Nadu-based manufacturer continues to expand its order pipeline amid increasing demand for grid and distribution equipment, positioning itself to benefit from infrastructure-led growth across key regional markets.

Supreme Power Equipment has secured domestic orders worth INR 128 crore for the supply of power transformers from multiple Hyderabad-based entities, with execution timelines ranging between 11 and 17 months, according to a company statement issued in the past week.

The orders involve the supply of transformers across capacities of 20 MVA, 112.5 MVA and 160 MVA, reflecting demand for both medium and high-capacity power infrastructure equipment. The company stated that it has received four separate orders, which together strengthen its order pipeline and provide visibility for near-term revenue generation.

The contracts are scheduled for execution over varying timelines, including 11 months, 13 months and up to 17 months, indicating staggered delivery schedules aligned with project requirements. The nature of the orders suggests ongoing expansion and upgradation of power infrastructure in the region.

According to Vee Rajmohan, Chairman and Managing Director of the company, the order inflow is aligned with increased investments in power and infrastructure sectors. He indicated that regions such as Telangana are witnessing strong activity, contributing to a growing pipeline of opportunities for equipment manufacturers. He added that the company remains focused on expanding its market presence while maintaining execution quality and long-term value creation.

Supreme Power Equipment, based in Tamil Nadu, specialises in the manufacturing of power and distribution transformers used across transmission and distribution networks. The latest order wins are expected to support its operational scale-up and reinforce its position within the domestic transformer manufacturing segment.

The development comes amid continued investments in India’s power infrastructure, including grid expansion, renewable energy integration and industrial demand growth. Equipment suppliers such as transformer manufacturers are witnessing increased order inflows as utilities and private sector players undertake capacity augmentation and network modernisation projects.

The company’s focus on securing orders from domestic clients reflects a broader trend of localised procurement and project execution within the power sector, particularly in high-growth states where infrastructure demand remains strong.
